Cerberus was developed as part of a research program of the NIST
Internetworking Technologies Group (ITG) and the NIST Systems and
Network Security Group (SNS). Project support and technical
collaborations were provided by the NIST Information Technologies
Laboratory (ITL), the National Security Agency (NSA), and the
NIST Advanced Technologies Program (ATP) Digital Video in Information
Networks Project.

The NIST Cerberus and PlutoPlus code was developed primarily by Rob Glenn and
Sheila Frankel with assistance from Alexander Schaff, Mike Oehler, and
Shu-jen Chang. The NIST Cerberus6 code was developed by Laurent Ciarletta.

Special thanks goes to Jim Foti for providing guidance on AES and paving
the way for making the WWW release of this code a possibility.
